About the Artist

Bethany Peterson is an artist from Southlake, TX. She holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Art from Texas Christian University, where she graduated in 2003.

Bethany’s work is influenced by her background as a designer for major fashion retailers. Her art centers around themes of nature and exploration of emotions. Bethany’s work often pairs rustic materials with simple, yet sophisticated layouts. She enjoys using a mix of mediums such as acrylic paints, collage, earth pigments, graphite, pastels, plaster, raw canvas and watercolors.

Bethany has committed to donating a portion of her proceeds to suicide prevention and education, a topic very close to her.
